Galaxy Gaming has declared the creation of a fresh branch focused on crafting online games.
This new department, dubbed Galaxy Gaming Digital, will handle the licensing of developer-made table game content, the internal development of fresh Galaxy Gaming titles, and the supervision of future digital operations.
The new division will grant licenses for table games to development partners, while also taking a more proactive role in developing games internally.
Galaxy Gaming will also be introducing its own random number generator games for the first time. The initial games – Split to Double Blackjack, Roulette Rise, and Phoenix Rise Baccarat – are currently being rolled out in brick-and-mortar casinos, with additional RNG games to follow later this year.
“The introduction of Galaxy Gaming Digital reflects our ongoing enthusiasm for creating and licensing the top table game content online, just as we have always done for our land-based patrons,” stated Todd Cravens, President and CEO of Galaxy Gaming.
“As a comprehensive table game expert, we perceive substantial opportunities for expansion and innovation by actively participating in the creation of our own new content, while continuing to collaborate closely with our industry-leading development partners.”
In addition to this, the fresh division will also focus on reaching a larger audience, bringing Galaxy’s games to new online platforms.
Back in March, Galaxy revealed that record online gambling earnings resulted in a 95.3% surge in their full-year 2021 revenue, hitting $19.9 million (£16.7 million/€19.4 million).
