Kambi Group (Kambi) and Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment (MGE) have reached an understanding to adjust the conditions of their sports wagering services contract to align with forthcoming state rules in Connecticut.

The alteration involves financial stipulations outlined in the original contract signed by Kambi and MGE in 2019.

The agreement is in effect for a period of five years.

As a consequence of the modification, Kambi will receive all income specified in the initial agreement, while MGE will be able to operate both physical and online sports betting in Connecticut without impacting Kambi’s earnings.

“While we have always been enthusiastic about supporting MGE as a leader in Connecticut sports betting, friendly discussions between the two entities have resulted in a favorable outcome, with MGE acknowledging Kambi’s financial interests for the duration of the original agreement,” stated Kristian Nylen, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Kambi.
