theScore is gearing up to introduce a gambling house in New Jersey – iGB
Canadian sports wagering and media behemoth theScore will unveil an online gambling establishment in New Jersey after securing a market access accord with Twin River Worldwide Holdings.
The accord will empower theScore to incorporate online gambling games into its theScore Bet application in the latter half of 2021.
The company’s sports wagering application debuted in August 2019 as a sub-license from Darby Development, the operator of Monmouth Park Racetrack.
The gambling house debut is still contingent upon regulatory endorsement from the state’s Division of Gaming Enforcement, as well as the finalization of Twin River’s procurement of Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel and Casino.
The $25 million procurement agreement was reached in April and is anticipated to conclude in March of the following year.
